For many first responders and military personnel, the hardest part is getting help in the first place. Walking through the doors, asking for support, stepping away from work and responsibility, and admitting that the weight has become too much to carry alone can feel harder than anything they have faced professionally. .
Why ER Nurses and Flight Medics Need a Place in the Trauma Conversation.
When people talk about first responders, the conversation usually starts with police, fire, EMS, and military. And it should. But there is another part of this world that stands shoulder to shoulder with them and is too often left out of the mental health conversation: ER nurses and flight medics..
At GRIT, Magnolia Meadows, we use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help first responders, veterans, and active-duty military process trauma safely without having to relive it. .
Make today day one on your journey to the life you dream of. We are here to give help, promote healing and instill the hope you need to discover that life!
